Rainforest Diaries: Watercolours from Costa Rica

1991-93 Rainforest Diaries - a series of journeys in Costa Rica

It may not seem a very practical idea to go to remote and untamed rainforests, to live alone there in a little tent and attempt to paint them (especially in watercolour!) but that is what Tony Foster did. When he went he expected his clothes to rot and occasionally to be extremely miserable and frightened. His expectations were all proved correct. He also found the forest fascinating and sublimely beautiful.
